Shelly : Hey gorgeous, how's it going?

* gorgeous : 아주 멋진, 멋들어진

* how's it going? : 어떻게 지내?, 요즘 어때?

 

Chandler : Dehydrated Japanese noodles under fluorescent lights... does it get better than this?

* dehydrated Japanese noodles : 일본 컵라면

* fluorescent : 형광성의, 형광등

* get better : 좋아지다

 

Chandler : Ah, you see, 'perfect' might be a problem. Had you said 'co-dependent', or 'self-destructive'...

* might : ~일 수도 있다. (현재나 과거의 가능성을 나타낼 때 사용하는 표현)

* be a problem : 문제가 되다

* co-dependent : 상대에게 의존하는

* self-destructive : 자기 파괴적인, 자멸적인

 

Chandler : Couldn't enjoy a cup of noodles after that. I mean, is that ridiculous? Can you believe she actually thought that?
